The Baptismal Preparation Program is required for parents
before children are admitted to the Sacrament of Baptism in
St. Mary’s Parish. This enables parents to take part
in the rite with understanding. Host couples assist in preparing
the parents. This program is presented monthly on the fourth
(4th) Tuesday of each month. If you have a child you would
like baptized, contact Diana Weidner at 410-879-4015
or 410-452-5166, ext. 20.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a year
round process in this parish. We welcome any adult wishing
to enter the Catholic Church through Baptism or a Profession
of Faith. We also welcome adults who are baptized Catholic,
but have not completed their initiation into the church by
celebrating the sacraments of Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
Adult Catholics are welcome to attend just to update their
faith. If you want to inquire about belonging to the Catholic
Church, call the Faith Formation Office at 410-879-4015 or
410-452-5166, ext. 24. You can enter into the process at any
time.

Faith Formation classes for the children of St. Mary's takes
place on Tuesday or Wednesday from September through April.
Children may begin classes as young as 4 years old. After
a child has completed all the grades (through Grade 8), he
or she may move to the High School program when they may request
to be Confirmed in the faith. If you would like to register

High School Faith Formation is a continuation of the program
began at elementary level. It is different in format and content.
We offer three core sessions (5 weeks) and four mini sessions
(3 weeks) each year. Young people are allowed and encouraged
to attend all, but are only required to attend a minimum of
sessions to complete a year. It is during this program when
the Sacrament of Confirmation is offered to those young people
in high school.

St. Mary's offers a wide range of spiritual, social, athletic
and justice activities "to draw young people to responsible
participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic
faith community." Middle schoolers (Grades 6-8) are invited
to come to a "drop-in night" on the second Friday
of each month from 7 to 9 p.m., while High School folks are invited to a "drop-in
night" on the third Saturday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. Young people from St. Mary's also take part
in wider activities through out the Archdiocese and Harford
County Area. Contact Rachel Bittner at 717-456-9118, 410-879-4015
or 410-452-5166, ext. 23 if you have questions or are interested
in joining the group.

St Mary’s Religious Library is now open! Although our holdings are presently extremely meager, the library will eventually house a wide range of materials that serve to enhance our Catholic faith. Materials may be borrowed from the library. There is no set time limit for borrowing an item. A material sign-out book is located in the library.
Library Donations: We will accept new and gently used books, magazines, and videos. All materials must be appropriate for display in our Catholic community and will be reviewed before they are added to the library. A box will be set outside the library to collect donations. For more information please contact Ron Bowers at 410-457-4616.
