OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (SAMARITAN’S PURSE)

We have partnered with William Watters United Methodist Church in Jarrettsville, to continue this worthwhile project.  In late September, Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes are distributed to interested parties in the parish.  The shoeboxes are then filled with small toys and games, pencils, notepads, etc. (there are exceptions) for a girl or boy of a certain age. The filled shoeboxes are returned to church during the first week of November. They are then distributed by Samaritan’s Purse, along with Christian literature, to needy children in the United States and throughout the world.  For more information or if you are interested in participating in this program, please call Sue Pardo at 410-456-7882.
